saying goodbyes and looking forward

2011 August 12
by Angela

This morning was the last time we walked with the boys to school and while they were enjoying their last morning with their friends (their choice!  we asked them if they would like to come to our graduation and they preferred going to camp with their friends one last day), we celebrated with our friends and teachers our graduation from Instituto de Lengua Española (ILE) or The Spanish Language Institute!    What a good morning.   There were lots of tears as we said our goodbyes, as we heard tributes given to us graduates by our teachers, and as we worshipped together for one last time.

And, now we are looking forward!   Our bags are packed.   We are ready.   We are nervous.   And we are excited!   We are anticipating our first glimpses of our new country, our first meetings with new friends, and praying that God  fills us with His love as we go.

Please continue to pray!

Praise the Lord He has prepared your family for this great task of presenting the gospel.
The Lord promised “never to leave you nor forsake you”.
With that promise God equips for the task ahead.
Hebrews 12:2a “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…”

    Love and prayers

Are we going to have to reteach you English?
I am so excited for you. You look happy and I am continuing to pray. Today Jer 15:16, Isa 40:41 and especially Acts 12.

    I love You so much.
