This week was birthday week in our house!
Lukas turned FIVE on Sunday, June 5th!
Lukas is 5!
Mackenzie turned SEVEN on Friday, June 10th!
Mackenzie is 7!
And, today we had a joint party for both of them to celebrate with their friends. When life is so full of changes, there is nothing like a birthday party to bring the normal back. We have been so thankful to be able to share this past year with so many great families and these kids have helped each other thrive in sometimes difficult circumstances.

Here is a before picture and then a picture after 20 minutes of 15 boys using all of their strength to hit it to pieces! In the end one of the dad's freed the candy from within! The boys loved it!!!

What a fun birthday!!! The boys wish they could have been there to celebrate/party with you.
So much joy! I love seeing the boys being boys, they are so great. Make sure you keep encouraging Mackenzie to jump on/off of things! Tell him I said to work on footwork, maintaining small steps downhill but very fast. It improves coordination and reaction time, hehe (erik and I called it “fast feet”)
