Goodness
Yesterday, we spent the day with dear dear friends, the Moores and the Halls. I cannot convey to you how special these people are to Angela and I. These friends have walked through life with us in a deep way. They have been God’s discerning, encouraging, affirming, and guiding voice in our lives and a huge source of joy and laughter (until our faces and stomachs ache). We keep in touch (via monthly skype visits) despite God leading us in different directions to different places. When leaving Canada for Latin America became a serious possibility, we all asked God that we could be together again one more time before we leave for the field. Yesterday God answered and wow what a good day! I post this cause I am sooo grateful to God for their friendship and am so proud that these great people are my friends. We look forward to the day when we will be together again to celebrate Christ and His transforming work in our families.
